Veteran filmmaker Johnny Bakshi dies at 82, Anupam Kher and Shabana Azmi pay heartfelt tributes – bollywood

Veteran producer-director Johnny Bakshi handed away on Saturday after struggling a cardiac arrest at a hospital right here. He was 82. Bakshi was admitted to Arogya Nidhi hospital in suburban Juhu on Friday morning after he complained of breathlessness. He was examined for Covid-19, which got here out destructive.

On Twitter, actor Anupam Kher paid tributes to the veteran filmmaker, remembering him as a person with the “most infectious laughter”. “Deeply saddened to know in regards to the demise of pricey #JohnnyBakshi. He was a really integral a part of my youth in Mumbai. As a producer, buddy, a supporter and as a motivator.
