Rojoali and Sajijul Shaikh
AHMEDABAD: Metropolis crime department on Sunday detained two brothers Sajijul Shaikh, 40, and his youthful brother Rojoali Shaikh, 27, each from Ramol, for allegedly killing their elder sister Souki alias Mira Ramswaroop Sadhu, 45, at her house in Sarita Residency, Ramol on Aug, 4.
Senior superintendent of police, crime department, Deepan Bhadran mentioned that it’s an irony that the 2 youthful brothers had deliberate the homicide utilizing the pretext of tying Rakhi to go to her at her dwelling. “They tied Rakhi, had tea made by their elder sister after which stabbed her to demise. They then broke open the wood cabinet and robbed gold and silver jewelry value Rs 6 lakh,” Bhadran mentioned.
“The duo had met on August 2, and determined to kill their sister as a result of they thought that due to Souki, Sajijul’s spouse had divorced him and now he was not getting one other lady to marry. They thought if this continues the youthful brother may also not get a bride. Souki had two interfaith marriages, one with Rakesh Nepali and later when Nepali died, with Ramswaroop Sadhu. Therefore they determined to kill her and loot the jewelry, which they knew she used preserve in a wood cabinet,” added Bhadran.
ACP crime department, B V Gohil mentioned that the brothers had introduced their elder sister Souki to Ahmedabad from Kolkata and there was continued dispute of their home over her.
