A fireplace broke out at a multi- storeyed constructing within the southern a part of the town’s Rabindra Sadan space on Tuesday night, fireplace division officers stated.
There was no report of any harm within the fireplace, the official stated.
4 fireplace tenders have been pressed into service to douse the fireplace which broke out at round 5.25 pm.
The fireplace broke out on the seventh ground of the constructing on AJC Bose Street housing a number of places of work and retailers, he stated.
The complete constructing was evacuated and the blaze was introduced underneath management after a 40-minute-long struggle by the firefighters, the officer stated.
