A septuagenarian girl was killed and her son, aged round 45, was injured when a portion of their dilapidated, one-storey home collapsed in jap suburban Kolkata early on Thursday morning after heavy rains lashed town.
Police mentioned that the duo obtained trapped below the particles when a portion of the home they lived in collapsed round 5.30 am on Thursday. Police managed to rescue them and rushed them to the hospital. It took nearly three hours to rescue the girl from below the particles. She succumbed within the hospital.
