The Oshiwara and Kurla police, in a joint operation, arrested a pair for kidnapping a year-old youngster from Kurla space, on Tuesday.
Based on police, the accused dedicated the offence as they weren’t in a position to conceive.
The accused Ibrahim Asaduddin Ali, 32 and Reshma Ibrahim Ali, 30, already knew the mom of the kid. They stored an in depth watch on her earlier than kidnapping her youngster.
The accused following the arrest advised police that on August 18, they took the kid and her mom for procuring at Kurla (West), the place they bought a costume for the kid. Ibrahim then took the kid beneath the pretext of getting her chocolate, and when he didn’t return after 15-20 minutes, Reshma requested the mom to attend, and that she would go and seek for him. The couple then escaped from the world.

“Following a grievance by Karishma Aslam Ali we registered an FIR beneath sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping), 406 (punishment for felony breach of belief) and 34 (widespread intention) of Indian Penal Code,” Dattatray Shinde, senior police inspector at Kurla police station.
An alert was despatched out to all police stations. Based mostly on the situation of the accused a group of cops from Oshiwara traced them to Jogeshwari.

The accused has revealed that the child was along with his spouse at Malwani. Reshma was then arrested from Malwani and the kid was introduced again safely.
