College students who will seem for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and Nationwide Eligibility cum Entrance Check (NEET) this month can be allowed to journey by native trains. Mother and father or guardians of the scholars will even be allowed to accompany them on locals.
The aspirants must carry their admit playing cards, because the railway authorities will test them on the entrance of the stations.
The Central Railway and Western Railway will even open further reserving counters on the railway stations to facilitate ticket bookings for college kids.
On Monday evening, the Central Railway issued a press release on the permission for practice journey granted to JEE, NEET aspirants.
“Candidates who’re showing for JEET and NEET, that can be performed in September are permitted to journey by particular suburban providers of the Mumbai suburban community of Central and Western Railways. Apart from important providers workers and aspirants and their companions, others are requested to not rush to the stations. It is usually requested that travellers comply with medical and social protocols as mandated for Covid-19,” stated Shivaji Sutar, chief public relations officer, Central Railway.
