Kiren Rijiju condoles Dronacharya awardee athletics coach Rai’s dying

Sports activities Minister Kiren Rijiju on Saturday condoled the dying of veteran athletics coach Purushottam Rai, who was to obtain this yr’s Dronacharya award within the lifetime class.

“India misplaced veteran athletics coach Shri Puroshottam Rai on Friday. Shri Rai was to obtain the Dronacharya (Lifetime) Award at the moment on the digital Nationwide Sports activities Awards ceremony. @KirenRijiju condoled his dying and stated, ‘His contribution will at all times be remembered’,” Rijiju tweeted.
