6.2 Magnitude Earthquake strikes on Western Xizang, China – EMSC

July 23 (Western Xizang, China) : A quake of 6.2 magnitude struck China’s Western Xizang district on Thursday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

The tremor was exceptionally shallow, at a profundity of 5 km (3.11 miles), EMSC said.
