
New York: Remember the miracle baby, who was born during one of the most devastating explosions in the history of Beirut a few weeks ago? The baby, George, came into this world shortly after the blasts and is creating quite the stir on social media again, for a very special reason.
The explosion took place just when the baby’s mother, Emmanuelle Khnaisser, was wheeled into the delivery room to give birth.
An Instagram profile named, Miracle baby George posted several images of the newborn, and since then they are being widely shared. Few pictures shared on the page were captioned, “Light from Darkness, Birth from Wreckage” I’m Baby George, born on 4th of August 2020 during Beiruth devastating explosion by heroes”
In one of the photos, baby George was wrapped in a white blanket with a heart on top that had the Lebanon flag on it.
The blast took place just when the boy’s mother, Emmanuelle Khnaisser, was wheeled into the delivery room to give birth.
Khnaisser‘s husband Edmound, who wanted the film the moments before his son was born, also ended up catching on camera one of the most devastating blasts in the history of Lebanon.
The recording which was widely circulated on social media showed the shockwave caused by the explosions shattering windows and injuring several medical staff present in the room.
Despite the explosions that killed over 100, doctors and staff helped the woman successfully deliver the baby boy, who is now called “miracle” baby George.

As one would expect, the image has received lots of love and good wishes from the netizens.
Meantime, it must be noted that the August 4 explosions is considered to be one of the most severe blasts in the world. The blast killed more nearly 157 people and over 5000 were injured.
